So, let me introduce myself first. My name is Anna and I’m a young passionate woman chasing her dreams and trying hard to be her best version everyday no matter what it takes.

I am lucky enough to have the best parents ever who they teached me so many things and I had an amazing childhood that every kid deserves. I’m so thankful they helped me a lot to become the person I am right now. I own so much to them!
Why am I telling you this? No matter you’re a parent or not, no matter you had the best childhood or the worst, you can be the change. But parents are so important and responsible for their kids and what kind of person they will become someday.
When I was around 10 years old I suddenly gained too much weight. I had troubles in school, my school mates was making fun of me telling me that I’m fat. I felt really bad and not comfortable in my skin anymore, I was sad all the time because of that. Children can be so mean and cruel without even realizing it. Even the fact everyone laughed at me at school, my mom always repeated me that I’m not fat, but I’m beautiful and perfect just the way I am. But that didn’t change the behavior of my school mates and something had to be done. One day my father desided to enroll me in a tennis academy close to my home.
So I started playing tennis every single day after school. And that was a game changer.
Only for a year I wasn’t the same kid anymore. In 3 years I already was a beautiful tall and young woman. I continued play tennis till I graduated from high school, which means for around 8 years. And I loved it so much! I couldn’t be thankful enough for my dad for involving me in sports and changing my life in such a good direction!
So I am sport oriented since I was a kid. I know it could be better, but at age of 10 is a good age to start any kind of sport. Since then I need this in my life – no matter if it’s yoga, running, workouts, hiking, tennis, pole dance, pilates or anything else I have tried.
At later stage when I was already a teenage in highscool I started doing diets. Unfortunately at that time diets didn’t have the same meaning like now a days. Today you can proudly tell that you are on a healthy balanced eating diet, vegetarian or vegan diet, even keto diet or you’re doing fasting and this means that you’re following a healthy way of living and doing something real good for your body and mind. But those days wasn’t the same and I know that they’re still people doing it. I mean when I started a diet it was something like only for a week and eating almost nothing. Sometimes only 2 eggs for the whole day and a salad for the evening, sometimes eating the same food everyday – for example only buckwheat with cheese or only sticks and yogurt. I mean, it was insane! When I look back I can clearly remember how fancy it was to be skinny. It was the era of the skinny anorexic models and actresses. It wasn’t ok to be even fit, you had to be skiny, but like almost looking sick skinny. It was crazy. So many girls suffered from serious psychologic eating disorders like bolemia and anorexia. Thank god I started reading too much about right eating habits, about how sports + being on the right diet can keep you away from such disorders and also help you look fit, healthy and feel great! So it all began!
Since forever I love to cook my own food, because I know exactly what I put inside of the meal I prepare, how much fats, sugars, proteins, carbochydrates and fibers it contains and what are the benefits my body gets from the food I eat. My motto was and still is:
“You Are What You Eat.”
I continued with sports and healthy cooking when I was a student. No matter I was studying and working at the same time to earn money to pay my bills and semestar I always found time to prepare the meal and put it in the box for the next day and take it to work, so I was not eating any junk food. Actually I can’t remember when was the last time I had junk food, honestly. It has to be when I was kid. Hahaha.
Yoga found me 5 years ago.
I was already graduated from uni and back at my hometown. I was trying to run my own business for the first time in my life. So me and my boyfriend together desided to open a small shop for hand-painted furnitre and handmade gifts (made by me, but this is a long story and I will tell you more about this some other time if you wish) and it was something I really loved doing. But as with any new beginning, especially when you’re around 23-24 years old and you’re not experienced with doing something like this you got all the stress and anxiety from trying to invest your money in something you really love and dream to do, to pay the insane rental taxes of the place, the bills, the VAT taxes and of course you will need to have some little more for living.
Then you got really nervous, you start talking louder to people, you start moving too fast and, everything get’s so fast that you
loose control on it and you end up yelling at your most loved ones for no reason.
We were fighting all the time with my love, it was so hard. It was all because of the stress. And we lived with my parents, it was really not ok because I was fighting with them too because of silly things.
So one day, we had a talk with my beloved dad about how I don’t feel ok, I’m super nervous, I feel things go out of my control, we fight with my love everyday, I fight with my mom at home and then he asked me the following question:
“So, sweetie why don’t you try YOGA? I heared it really helps dealing with stress and anxiety.”
That was it. This is how everything started. Since then I practice Yoga Everyday and Everywhere. Period. You can imagine how yoga changed me. I left my business with the furniture behind. It is really something special that I still love and miss doing so much, but unfortunately people in Bulgaria are still not ready to appreciate and acomplish the hand work so we closed the store, we moved to another city, where we still live and have a really good new business – we run an online store ( www.affectbg.com ), which is another long story that I’m gonna tell you another time, but this is the family business of my boyfriend – his mom is the founder of the brand, which is manufacturing home and sleepwear so we help them and run the online store.

I also became a vegetarian and my passion for cooking that I have since high shcool is getting stronger each new day.
Traveling is my other passion.
I was so lucky as I already said to have the best parents. They took me on a Europe road trip when I was 15 years old. We spent 24 days on the road and visited so many countries, that a kid at this age can only dream for. We started from Sofia, Bulgaria and went through Hungary, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Italy and ended up in Greece. It was such an amazing experience. Now when I look back that explains why I dream so bad to buy an old van, to make it beautiful and to go on a road trip with my babe.
Ahh, dreams, dreams…But I know they will come true someday!
So this is how my passion for traveling was born. Since we moved here 4 years ago with my love we try our best to travel as much as possible. We also travel separately – sometimes I go on a girly adventure with my bestie, sometimes he goas on a snowboard trips with his friends. And inbetween we go together on romantic boho trips! But we always try to travel the non-touristic way. We organize our trips by our own, no agencies, no third partries, we just book the tickets online from the airline company’s website usualy when they do discounts, then everything starts from planning where we will go, which place we’re going to visit first, then we book our hotels, we plan if we’re going to do some trips when we arrive at the destination or sometimes we preffer to go with the flow and see what happens. And this is what makes our travels really authentic and different, we love to explore non touristic sides of the places we visit, to talk with locals as much as possible, to get to know the culture, eat the local food and just be like locals so we can really feel how they live. And that is what I love most about Traveling.
Well, that was pretty all of my story that lead me to my Wholesome Boho Life and I never stop chasing and dreaming.
I created this blog to share my journey with like minded people who want to live a happier and healthier life and to travel more.
My mission is to turn the world a better place and to be the best version of myself everyday.
