Easy Vegan Falafel Burgers ♥️

Everyone needs a falafel burger, trust me! This one is so easy to prepare and so-o-o-o TASTY! You will love it.
The falafel burgers are made with canned chickpeas because you can find them everywhere and you safe so much time.

Falafel goodness are awesome as they are already. But Falafel in a burger are just so irresistible!
This delicious treat became one of my favorite for lunch, but it’s perfect also for a Sunday movie night! Why not?
So I’m not gonna waste your time explaining how amazing this goodness is anymore, but I’ll go straight to the recipe, so here it is:
Falafel Burgers:

  • 400g can chickpea, rinsed and drained
  • 2 garlic clove, chopped
  • handful of flat-leaf parsley or curly parsley
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1⁄2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small red onion, roughly chopped


  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced red onions
  • Sliced avocado
  • Lettuce or greens
  • Mustard

Tahini dressing:

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • a handful of fresh parsley
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup or more water
  • 1/4 tsp salt


Make the falafel Burgers:
Pat the chickpeas dry with kitchen paper. Tip into a food processor along with the onion, garlic, parsley, spices, flour and a little salt. Blend until fairly smooth, then shape into four patties with your hands.
Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan, add the burgers, then quickly fry for 3 mins on each side until lightly golden. Serve with toasted pittas, tomato salsa and a green salad.
Make the dressing:
Blend everything under tahini dressing. Taste and adjust salt and tang. Add more tahini for thicker dressing and more water for thinner.
Toast the burger buns. Assemble the burger with sliced tomatoes, onions, avocado, lettuce or greens, falafel burgers and a generous amount of tahini dressing, pickles. Add some
hot sauce if you wish. Serve and ENJOY! Mmmm…YUMMY!!!
